Sometimes an employee could use some help dealing with a personal issue. Sometimes it's not easy to talk to someone at work or at home about it. Sometimes it's good to take it to a place where someone with the right blend of experience, training, and education can help find a solution.
The Andrews & Associates Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an effective employee benefit your business can provide at modest cost. It offers up to five sessions of counseling services each contract year to each employee and his or her family. Sessions are provided at no cost to the employee and are confidential. No one at the office will know who is using the service or what issues are being presented. Regular reports can keep the employer informed of how much the service is being used.
Also available as part of your EAP are regular brown-bag luncheons where your employees can get training on such topics as
- Managing work time
- Creating good boundaries for good work relationships
- Customer service excellence
- Stress management
- Mental health consumer tips
- Dealing with loss
Andrews & Associates is also on-call for consultations regarding employer-employee relationship issues.
The Andrews & Associates EAP goes well beyond the traditional session or two of "therapy" provided by other programs. These sessions are usually intended merely to process a referral of an employee to a provider with whom the employee can use his or her health insurance for payment. The Andrews & Associates EAP provides quality psychotherapy services at no additional charge as well as staff support designed to help your employees perform at their highest level. It is a mixture of therapy services and business consultation that fills your need to support and retain quality employees.
Our EAP also helps employees avoid the use of their health insurance for mental health services. This helps informed employees steer clear of potential problems with insurance issues.
